Our Mission in Online Education

Christian Educators Online Academy and Private School teachers and administrators are dedicated to providing the best education and curriculum alternatives to children at all levels of academic ability.

We believe that education is a lifelong experience, one that requires freedom and creativity, and allows for individuality during the learning process. We are committed to upholding all Florida State requirements for both on-campus and off-campus students. We strive for excellence in all areas of the academic process, and hold our students to the highest academic standards.

History and Overview of our Online High School

With over 27 years of educational experience, the vision for Christian Educators began after the owners provided home education for their own children. With her BA in Theology and Education, Deborah began teaching students with various kinds of learning disabilities in private Christian schools in California, and then in Florida. Seeing the enormous need for quality, educational materials in the private schools, she began searching for a high quality, Christian-Friendly, college preparatory online curriculum to offer students nationwide.

Deborah's husband, holding a MA in Business from UC Davis, and MA in Engineering from MIT became the Administrative Director, launching the Christian Educators Online Academy in 2005. We are now an established, accredited, private online school, registered by the State Board of Education in Florida. Our main campus is located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.  Our non-traditional school awards credits to high school students whether they complete work on site or off campus.  Our official school code is 3425 (www.FLDOE.org).
